What a great start to kick off JASY camp 2017! The team was commissioned at the 9:30 am church service. We promised to serve God's children in Kingston with joy and love, with Rev. Carrie leading us in prayer and responses.
We then met for a pack and play party to sort and pack our supplies for Jamaica! What many people do not know is that we transport almost all of our camp supplies every year to Jamaica. We packed swimsuits, soccer balls, a new parachute, t-shirts, craft supplies, shorts and so much more! By the end we had close to 23 bags packed, labeled correctly, and weighed. We shared a pizza lunch and stories about past JASY camps. Thank you to everyone who came out to help and a special thanks to Tony for keeping us so organized!
